.Saturday September 25  Saints - 25   St Stephen - 0

The Saints visit St Stephen and the word of the day is DEFENCE!  The Saints D held St Stephen to six first downs throughout the game through interceptions by Tom Making, Matt Belyea and Joe Goguen who ran his INT back 53 yards for a touchdown. Chris Arseneau and Ben Wilson each recorded two fumble recoveries while Arseneau and Peter McDade combined for 6 QB sacks. John Ritchie and Tom Making also contributed with two knocked down passes each. Gang tackling on every play made it difficult to record all tackles but every member of the Defence contributed to the shutout.

The Offense would not be denied either, Sheldon Boucher ran for 165 yds and two touchdowns, Chris Wilkes rumbled for 60 yds with Tom McKenzie matching his yardage. Dave Mudge scampered for 85 yds and a touchdown, then converted his own TD. Greg Melanson pulled in a key pass during the game and the offensive line safeguarded QB Ryan Nolan all day long, Nolan also contributed both in the air and on the ground.

Congratulations Saints
